It has come to my attention that there is a seller on Ebay who has taken my finger spelling set and is selling it without my permission on both Ebay and her own web page. This is called copyright infringement or theft of intellectual property. For proof I offer up a close up view of the stitches. Each person and or software will lay down stitches differently even IF they used the same clipart. I drew the hands myself and then digitized them. Can you tell the difference? My design was last modified October 1997 in this original format.
My ORIGINAL letter X is BLUE the letter X from the seller on Ebay is PINK The seller says she digitized the designs herself. You look and tell me what you think.
Close up view of the pinkie area, now tell me, what two digitizers or software will lay down stitches in the EXACT same way? For all of you who said NONE - CORRECT you win the prize. Each square on the line represents a needle puncture by the way, the straight line is a traveling stitch to eliminate jump stitches and the zigzag are the top stitching. I decided to use running stitches on the palm and wrinkle to keep down the bulk on the design.
Ebay is a den of thieves. New seller, same item. My finger spelling set.. My letter U is on the right in blue, the sellers is on the left in red. One of my very good customers sent me the Ebay file.
Notice the running stitch under the zigzag stitch to the right, and how TWO stitches go beyond the zigzag. or on the running stitch portion, the right side of the "Y" both designs have a gap and needle points (the boxes on the line) in the EXACT SAME PLACE. Opps looks like someone on Ebay is selling something that doesn't belong to them.,
Why do these THIEVES claim they created designs when all they do is steal? Oh I know, because it is faster and cheaper.
This Ebayer is claiming copyright to my designs yet again.
Yet another infringer on Ebay is selling COPIES - YES COPIES of my tutorial. He claims he is selling unwanted tutorials from his wife's embroidery club. Big problem, one of the buyers contacted me and her disks had PAPER labels. My tutorials do not have paper labels, the image is printed directly onto the disk so that the paper label won't come off and get stuck in your cd player. EVEN IF these were original disks, the End User License Agreement that is included with the tutorial restricts the resale of the tutorial.
